THE 8 WONDERS (08.08.08)

Hi all. Today is Friday, 08.08.08. Oh yes, the Magic of 8 is back today(08.08.08). And yes, it is indeed a very special day because of the triple eights - the last time 08.08.08 appeared was 100 years ago(08.08.1908). It also mark the start of 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic. The date holds auspicious connotations such as fortune, prosperity and good tidings.
The shape of this number also makes it unique. Nothing happens to this number if you invert it vertically or if you mirrored it. And yet, you still get the same number "8".
