Classic Mercedes-Benz Spotted

Spotted this 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 S (W 180 II) today. Truly a classic car nowadays. Was a luxury ride back in the 1960s.

Wikipedia:
The Mercedes-Benz 220 S was unveiled to the world at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The 220S - or Super - was intended for the enthusiastic audience who sought quality and craftsmanship. The Sedan version was the first of the series to be introduced, with a convertible option appearing shortly thereafter, followed by a hard top in 1957. In total, there were fewer than 3,500 coupes and convertibles constructed.

Under the bonnet of the 220 Series Mercedes-Benz was an inline six-cylinder engine that was the same size as the 219, but with additional horsepower. Over the years, Mercedes would continue to fine-tune and enhance the 2,195cc engine.
