Happy New Year 2009 ?

Well, 31st December had past. Time to usher a new year while we bid farewell to 2008. It had been quite a year for me, good and bad.

Looking back...honestly, it wasn't a great year to me since the beginning of January 2008, which got worsen in the later half. We all know what the year holds for us...Political front, Price-hike, Economic crisis looms large on the horizon, this and that... all take into consideration. Hopefully the year 2009 will be much better.

To all the readers, wishing you a Happy New Year 2009. CHEERS.

Colourful beginning.

A spectacular display of fireworks can be seen lighting up the night sky around KLCC with a dazzling array of colourful showers, to usher in the New Year at the stroke of midnight.

Still in Fetive Mood.

Went to IKEA, Mutiara Damansara today (26.12.2008) with dad. Later proceed to The Curve. The Christmas decorations there are great...not to mention, FANTASTIC too. Managed to capture images of it. Well, will let the pictures do the "talking".

....and along the way, spotted this EXOTIC ride outside The Royals Bintang Damansara;

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2008

Today(25th December 2008) is a special day.
CHRISTMAS. Yes, Christmas...as its name suggest. The stockings are up, the Christmas tree is decorated, and everyone has a present under the tree. You’ve picked out Christmas candy, all others food ready on the table, and you’re ready for the big day.

As we celebrate this meaningful day, are we missing something? What does Christmas really mean? Is it all about getting presents and eating candy canes or cookies and waiting up for Santa Claus?

The word “Christmas” gives us some hints about what Christmas was originally/actually all about. It started off with the birth of JESUS CHRIST, over two thousand years ago in the country of Israel.

Jesus’ birth is very important to Christians around the world who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. They celebrate Christmas like a big birthday party, annually. That’s why they give gifts to each other, because Jesus was born on that day.

Some celebrate Christmas in all sorts of ways. Some families put up lots of lights all over their houses, and decorations to celebrate the holiday. Some buys you lots of presents and puts them under the Christmas tree, or maybe you go to a church service.

The most important thing to remember when you’re thinking about Christmas is that it’s not just about presents or Santa Claus or singing carols. Christmas marks a very important historic event. You can read the actual Christmas story in Matthew or Luke in the Bible, and maybe this Christmas you can think about the holiday in a slightly new way.

Anyway here are some images I took at AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre Klang. Happy viewing.
